The story of us, Kerstin and Noam, begins in India, in Daramsala, the home of the Dalai Lama.

There our souls met, coming from different parts of the world. Kerstin had come to India by bicycle from Germany via Turkey, Iran and Nepal, Noam had traveled by plane from Israel and then for a year by motorbike through India. We spent a magical time together, meditated daily and did a lot of yoga.

We became passionate about jewellery making and learned different methods from locals and travelers, such as macramé and how to work with coconut shells, plant seeds and wood in combination with stone and metal. We became better and better at making beautiful jewellery and finally decided to turn our passion into a profession. We embarked on another journey to the fabled "Pink City", Jaipur, the city with the largest mineral market in India. There we learned a lot about gemstones and other minerals, their processing and properties. We were lucky and had the honor to make the acquaintance of really good artists who inspired us to create beautiful jewellery. The mineral dealers from whom we bought our stones, the artisans, brass and silversmiths went from being business partners to friends over time. We got to know their children, mothers and grandmothers, were invited to wedding parties and it is these people with whom we still work closely today, many years later.

Initially, we sold our jewellery to friends and family in Germany, then in Holland on the street where passers-by could watch us making jewellery and later at markets all over Germany. Our jewellery became more and more popular and we could no longer make it all on our own. So we asked our friends from Jaipur for support in jewellery making.

For more than 12 years now, we have been working with these same families from whom we get our gemstones and with the families of artisans and blacksmiths who create beautiful pieces of jewellery from our designs and thereby feed their families. In the meantime, we have three wonderful children ourselves and are living in Marburg , where our children attend a Free School.

We have a six-meter tent with which "Mum" and "Dad" take turns visiting markets all over Germany in non-Corona times. As this is not possible at the moment, we would like to give you the opportunity to buy our jewellery here on our new website.

May it bring you much joy!
